An echocardiogram, or ultrasound of the heart, provides precise information about heart valves, blood flow, chamber size and contractions. Our echocardiograms are comprehensive, including imaging from both the right and left sides, 2D images, m-mode (motion) imaging, and color and spectral Doppler. We are able to measure pressure differences between chambers and vessels of the heart as well as interrogate blood speed, direction, and flow patterns across defects and shunts.
